This is a [carefully selected] Nagauta Kinbo Shamisen (Hosozao) that meets our strict assessment criteria for used shamisen.

This is a beautiful red sandalwood neck shamisen with a unique grain pattern on the neck.

Although there was no wear on the surface of the neck, it has been polished and is in beautiful condition. The entire shamisen, including areas other than the surface, is lustrous and in excellent condition.

The tuning pegs are made of genuine ebony (used) and have been adjusted, so they hold well.

This shamisen would currently retail new for over 1.2 million yen in stores.

As shown in the photos, the body has a luster and features a Komochi Ayasugi grain. There are only a few minor scratches, with no noticeable damage.

We have applied premium double-sided dog skin (normally 45,000 yen), maximizing the beautiful sound of the shamisen.

The height of the 'ha' and the 'sagari' have also been inspected and adjusted.

Regarding accessories, to ensure a pleasant user experience, all small items are brand new.

Overall, there are no noticeable scratches, and it is in beautiful condition for a used item. However, as it is a used item, if you are concerned about minor scratches or color variations, we recommend considering a new shamisen.

However, in recent years, we have received many inquiries such as "Will you buy my shamisen?" or "Do you deal in used shamisen?" Therefore, we have established our own strict assessment criteria and decided to purchase only those shamisen that meet these criteria and sell them as used shamisen.
While setting strict purchase assessment criteria makes it difficult to handle (stock) a large number of used shamisen, we are committed to providing items that can be cherished for a long time, even if they are used. Of course, we will responsibly handle regularly required repairs such as skin replacement and tuning peg adjustments, as well as after-sales support following your purchase.

About Delivery Methods

For products marked with "Eligible for Trackable Mail" on each product page, delivery at 198 yen is possible. Return and Exchange Conditions

As a general rule, returns are free within the specified period after product arrival. However, only unused items are eligible.

・If a non-returnable item such as an opened or used item is returned, 50% of the product price (tax included) will be refunded.

◇ Japanese musical instrument supplies... Within 5 days from arrival date (including arrival date)
◇ Musical instruments... Within 2 days from arrival date (including arrival date)
◇ Sheet music... No returns or exchanges

Note) If a used item is returned, it will be sent back collect on delivery, or 50% of the product price (tax included) will be refunded. (Full refunds are not possible)
For musical instruments (shamisen, koto), returns (within 2 days) are possible after playing the instrument, but please be careful not to scratch the instrument. If there are any stains or scratches, returns are not possible. *Shamisen made with synthetic leather are limited to unused items. (Shamisen with optional artificial skin are not eligible for return or exchange.)
(Returns and exchanges for all products will be refused after the deadline has passed.)

・Upon arrival of your product, please immediately check for any damage.
In the event of a product error, please contact us within 2 days of arrival.
We will refuse returns, exchanges, or repairs for product errors reported after 3 days.
In the case of a product error, we will exchange the item at our shipping cost.
For damage during delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of product arrival.
We will exchange the item under the responsibility of the shipping company, but compensation may not be available if a certain amount of time has passed since arrival.
