Wagakki Ichiba was founded in Kumamoto, Japan, and has been serving musicians for over 90 years. Our mission has always been simple: to offer high-quality shamisen, koto, and other traditional Japanese instruments at the fairest prices possible, while helping the wagakki (Japanese traditional instrument) industry grow and thrive.

Return Policy and Conditions	As a general rule, returns are free within 5 days of product arrival. However, this is limited to unused items. Returns or exchanges are not possible for sheet music. For musical instruments (shamisen, koto), returns are possible after playing them (within 2 days), but please be careful not to scratch the instrument. In the unlikely event of scratches, we may not be able to accept returns. (After 5 days, returns and exchanges of all products will be refused.)
