(Special) Kouta Rosewood Shamisen
This is a kouta-shamisen made from approximately 30 years old rosewood wood grown naturally in Thailand.
A special hard type of old, dried wood called ``Nakawatari'' or ``Kuruwatari'' is said to be the highest grade of rosewood and far superior to the second grade of red wood.
