This is an advanced instructor model Tsugaru Kinsai Shamisen.
This Kinsai Shamisen is recommended for current grand masters, those aspiring to become grand masters in the future, and anyone who wants to "play a shamisen of the same quality as a grand master teacher."
When you reach the position of an instructor, you will be observed in all aspects, including your performance and instrument. Therefore, we recommend that you own at least this class of shamisen.
Many people think, "I want to perform with a shamisen like my teacher's." While many people are actually hesitant to own an instrument that exceeds their skill level, it is by no means a bad thing to own an instrument that is better than your current skill. On the contrary, playing with an instrument that produces a good tone is said to lead to faster improvement because the sound is clear, and any slight deviation in finger placement will be clearly audible, which helps in pressing the finger positions accurately. Furthermore, once you own a good instrument, practice becomes more enjoyable and productive. This shamisen is also recommended for such individuals.
It features fine "tochi" (marbling) evenly distributed throughout, which is a sign of a top-quality product. The wood is extremely hard and heavy.
※Some parts of the neck may appear black, but red sandalwood naturally oxidizes over time, causing the entire neck surface to turn black, so it will become less noticeable later.
The body is crafted from Karin wood with beautiful annual rings, characteristic of Kinsai shamisen. The inside features a Komochi Ayasugi carving to further enhance the sound quality, and the neck joint is fitted with double grooves filled with gold to ensure stability.
After your order, a carefully selected, top-grade dog skin will be stretched and applied, and the shamisen will be delivered to you in the best possible condition. Please choose your tuning pegs from three types: red sandalwood ebony, ivory-tone, or crystal.

If the tension of the skin is insufficient, even a good shamisen will not produce sound. However, if the skin is firmly stretched, it will resonate surprisingly well. Return and Exchange Conditions
As a general rule, returns are free within the specified period after product arrival. However, only unused items are eligible.
・If a non-returnable item such as an opened or used item is returned, 50% of the product price (tax included) will be refunded.

For musical instruments (shamisen, koto), returns (within 2 days) are possible after playing the instrument, but please be careful not to scratch the instrument. If there are any stains or scratches, returns are not possible. *Shamisen made with synthetic leather are limited to unused items. (Shamisen with optional artificial skin are not eligible for return or exchange.)
(Returns and exchanges for all products will be refused after the deadline has passed.)
・Upon arrival of your product, please immediately check for any damage.
In the event of a product error, please contact us within 2 days of arrival.
We will refuse returns, exchanges, or repairs for product errors reported after 3 days.
In the case of a product error, we will exchange the item at our shipping cost.
For damage during delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of product arrival.
We will exchange the item under the responsibility of the shipping company, but compensation may not be available if a certain amount of time has passed since arrival.
