As you recommended, the golden tone string goes well with the black Tsugaru bodakake. I was impressed by how elaborately the Higashi Sawari was made.

Compared to the Nagauta shamisen that I currently own, it's much heavier, and each string makes a strong sound, so I thought I'd be able to hone my practice even more.

The sound quality of the Tsugaru Shamisen is a little hard and the high notes stand out, but unlike Nagauta, which is played in a small space, I felt that this Tsugaru shamisen is suitable for playing solo pieces in a large space. In the future, I hope to gradually develop my own taste by mastering this instrument.
